How to

Good to know
Will the image be stretched or cropped?
No. The aspect ratio stays the same; the whole image is just scaled down.
Does the format change?
No. A JPG stays a JPG and a PNG stays a PNG, transparency included.
Which size should I pick?
1920 px is enough for screens and websites, 1280 px for email and chat, 800 px for small previews.
How is this different from “Compress image”?
Here you change the dimensions in pixels. “Compress image” targets the file size in KB, for portals with a limit.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser.
