How to

Good to know
Does this make the background transparent?
No. A PNG can be transparent, but converting doesn’t remove any background. For that, use “Remove background”.
Why is the PNG bigger than the JPG?
PNG is lossless and stores every pixel exactly, which takes more space than JPG.
Does the image get better?
No. The PNG looks exactly like the JPG. Nothing more is lost, but nothing is added either.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Converting happens in your browser.
